Census Bureau: 83.6% of people in Lassen County were old enough to vote in 2021

Of the 32,949 citizens living in Lassen County in 2021, 83.6% were old enough to vote, equating to 27,533 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.

Further breakdown reveals that of the voting-eligible population, 18,492 were male, constituting 67.2%, and 9,041 were female, making up 32.8%.

The percentage of citizens old enough to vote in Lassen County during 2021 was higher than the state average, which stands at 77.2%.
