Cost of college at Feather River Community College District remained the same for all students in 2022-23 school year

The Feather River Community College District reported no change in in-state tuition fees for the 2022-23 school year, according to the latest disclosure from the National Center for Education Statistics.

California residents paid $1,461 to attend the institution in both the 2021-22 and 2022-23 academic years.

Non-resident students faced tuition costs 552.4% higher than residents, amounting to $9,531 in 2022-23, the same rate as the previous year.

Approximately 86% of the undergraduate student body are California residents, while about 11% come from other states.

Data indicates that 94% of full-time undergraduates who enrolled at Feather River Community College District in 2022-23 received some form of financial aid. In total, 134 students were awarded grants or scholarships amounting to $777,151, and 30 students secured student loans exceeding $160,457.

Among all undergraduates, 986 students utilized grants or scholarships totaling $3.4 million. Additionally, 85 students borrowed $435,344 in federal student loans.

Undergraduate education costs have seen a significant increase over the past few decades. Data shows a 169% rise in the average total cost, including tuition, fees, room, and board, between 1980 and 2020.
