City of Claremont issued the following announcement.
Looking for a unique gift idea? Consider donating a new tree in honor of a loved one. Trees are a great way to give back to the environment. They provide many environmental and
health benefits, as well as preserve the beautiful urban forest we have grown to love in the City. Trees can be planted in parks or adjacent to private property in the City rights-of-
way. City staff will work directly with you to select a location and species. The cost to donate a tree is between $150 to $275 depending on the size. You may also make a donation
to the Tree Fund to assist with routine maintenance of our urban forest. For more information contact Community Services at (909) 399-5431 or by email at
