City of Claremont issued the following announcement.
Beginning Tuesday, January 19, 2021, Claremont Helen Renwick Library will temporarily close for electrical work. The closure will last approximately four weeks. During this time,
sidewalk service will be suspended and the book drops will be locked. Library customers may use La Verne Library as a pickup and return location, if they wish. Due dates on all
library materials will be automatically extended as a courtesy for Claremont Library customers, and all holds remaining at the library after close of business on Friday, January 15
will be held until the library resumes sidewalk service in mid-February.
Other library services, including Wi-Fi access, wireless printing, and library staff assistance, will be available at La Verne Library or other LA County Library locations during the
Claremont library closure.
