Of the 42,030 people living in Rancho Palos Verdes city in 2019, 52 percent (21,870) were women and 48 percent (20,160) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the NE Cali News.

Females 18 and over outnumbered males in the same age group by a ratio of 11,871-to-10,596. In the 65 and over age range, there were 5,684 females and 5,030 males.
