Patent office takes 2,527 days to approve Malibu inventor’s patent in December

Patent 9

The longest time between a patent being filed and granted in December in Malibu was 2,527 days, according to the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

The patent application was filed by Invent. Ly, LLC for a perturbing the contextualization of a proposition by a group of subjects considered in a quantum representation by injecting a subject exhibiting an anti-consensus statistic modulo the proposition. It was filed on Jan. 20, 2015 before being approved on Dec. 21, 2021.

Though patents are required for inventions and products, the granting of a patent is not a guarantee for success. Dennis Crouch, co-director of the Center for Intellectual Property & Entrepreneurship, said roughly 50 percent of patents expire prematurely due to costs.

There were 10 patents granted for Malibu inventors in December.
